Split a bill with Revolut or Venmo

Revolut and Venmo make sending money trivial, but they do not tell you how much to send. The split has to happen first, and it should be exact, not a rounded guess.

Exact amounts beat round numbers

Rounding to the nearest five feels generous but quietly overcharges some people and undercharges others, especially with tax and tip involved.

Split by item first: everyone taps what they had, shared dishes divide automatically, and each person gets their precise share including their portion of the tip.

One link, every payment app

The payer saves their preferred payment method once, and every guest sees a pay button with their own amount. Revolut, Venmo, Apple Cash, PayPal: whatever the payer uses.

Guests never need the same app as each other. They only need a way to pay the payer.

Travelling? Watch the currency

On trips the receipt currency and your payment currency often differ. A good split keeps the receipt in its original currency and lets the payment app handle conversion.

Tablesplitter reads the currency off the receipt automatically, so a bill in Swedish krona stays in krona instead of being mislabeled as euros.

Try it on your next bill

Snap the receipt, share one code, everyone taps what they had. No sign-up needed.
